Explore the Pros and Cons of Hair Transplant Costs in Turkey, Europe, and the USA
While it’s true that low prices are often associated with low quality for any thing, that’s not the case with hair transplants in Turkey.
The main reason for the affordable costs of these procedures is actually the difference in exchange rates between the Turkish currency and major international currencies such as the US dollar, the Euro, and the British Pound. This exchange rate difference affects not just the hair transplant market, but also other medical treatments being conducted in Turkey; such as plastic surgeries, dental treatments, and bariatric surgeries.
In the past decade, the number of Turkish surgeons specializing in hair transplants has significantly increased due to high demand. This increased competition between clinics has resulted in lower prices in many clinics in order to maintain their market share. Despite the affordable costs, Turkish doctors and clinics have gained a reputation for their expertise in handling challenging cases and staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and scientific developments in the field. Plus, all clinics in Turkey must meet the standards of the Turkish Health Ministry and undergo regular inspections to ensure they meet these standards.
Get the best quality at an affordable price with a hair transplant in Turkey. Don’t let the low cost deceive you – these procedures are performed by experienced and skilled professionals who prioritize patient satisfaction and results.”

Uncovering the Key Factors That Affect Hair Transplant Costs in Turkey
When it comes to undergoing a hair transplant, cost is often a major consideration. Here are several factors that affect the price of a hair transplant operation in Turkey.
- Technique Implemented: One of the main factors that can impact the cost of your procedure is the technique used. FUE and DHI techniques are currently the most popular methods in Turkey.
- Surgeon Expertise: It’s best to choose a surgeon who has a track record of success and performs hair transplants regularly. Although more experienced surgeons may charge higher prices, they can provide a smoother and more successful procedure.
- Grafts Count: Most clinics in Turkey offer “all-inclusive” packages, but some charge per graft. Be sure to do your research and speak with medical consultants at different clinics to get an idea of the costs involved.
- Accommodation and Transfer Fees: Finally, consider the cost of accommodation and transfers when budgeting for your hair transplant in Turkey. Many clinics offer “all-inclusive” packages that include these amenities to make the process more convenient for patients traveling from abroad.
All-Inclusive Hair Transplant Packages: What's Included and How Much Do They Cost?
An “all-inclusive” package is a solution offered to patients from abroad to alleviate the stress of coordinating accommodation and transfers when traveling to Turkey for a hair transplant procedure. These packages typically include:
- Transfers to and from the airport
- Accommodation at a 5-star hotel
- A competent translator
- Free online aftercare
- Thanks to these packages, you can plan your whole journey even before you land in Turkey.

If you’re from the UK, Germany, or the US, you may be relieved to know that you can get the same procedure done for a fraction of the price in Turkey.
On average, a hair transplant in Turkey costs €2500 with an “all-inclusive” package. That’s compared to an average of €6500 in the UK, €6000 in Germany and other European countries, and a whopping €10000 in the US (without all-inclusive features).
But how much does a hair transplant with 2000 or 3000 grafts cost in Turkey specifically? At many Turkish clinics, the price is determined by the technique that will be used with the patient and what’s included in the package, rather than the number of grafts solely. This means that the cost of a package with 2000 grafts abroad is similar to that of one with 4000 grafts in Turkey, with an average price of around €2500. For 3000 grafts, the price ranges from €1500 to €5000, depending on the method utilized and the host clinic.
How much does 2000 grafts hair transplant costs in Turkey?
In many Turkish hair transplant clinics, the price is set according to the technique that will be used and what the package will include. Since the cost is not calculated according to the number of grafts the package price will be pretty much similar to that of 4000 grafts. Average price is around € 2500 with “All-Inclusive” package.
How much does 3000 grafts hair transplant costs in Turkey?
The price for 3000 grafts is between € 1500 – € 5000 in Turkey, depending on the method that will be used and the clinic where the operation will be performed. Average cost for the same operation in Germany is € 6000, in the UK € 6800, in USA € 11000 and in Canada up to € 15000.
Prices may vary in some countries since some clinics set the price according to the number of grafts, in such cases price can go up to € 20000.

Why Turkey Is the Go-To Destination for Affordable Hair Transplants as Less Costly Option
Turkey is the capital for hair transplant operations in the World. Every year around 1.000.000+ people travel to Turkey to get their transplant operations done for significantly lower prices rather than their country of residence.
Understandably many doubt the quality of the work but at the same time wonder why hair transplant in Turkey is so popular. Contrary to that doubted belief, there are many high standard, specialized hair transplant clinics in Turkey that offer the best results worldwide.
Main factor for low hair transplant cost is the difference of exchange between Turkish currency and $ USD, € EURO and £ GBP. This doesn’t just affect the hair transplant market but other medical treatments such as plastic surgery, dental treatments and bariatric operations.

Do you have to use finasteride after the transplant to keep the transplanted hair?
I’m looking at Turkey prices – $3,500 Plus airfare – Atlanta- hair is similar to mine they said 4,500 – they want $18,000 over here 😂- Turkey has clinics that look like Beverly Hills clinics. I’ll do it here
I am about to get it done in Istanbul with motorized extraction because I saw online that motorized method damage the grafts and it’s terrible and inconsistent. Is that true? Do you also offer both motorized and manual extraction?
Is there one that seems more natural than the other (between dhi and fue)? Especially on the front lines?? In terms of the angle/direction of the implanted hair, they say DHI allows in a more realistic look. True? I couldn’t find an explanation to this in the topic, so please forgive me if it has already been addressed elsewhere.
Hello, Dr. Mr. Ozturk’s I had a hair transplant in Belgium and came on your blog when looking for beard-donor hair transplants. My problem is that I’m 9 weeks post-op and still have redness on my neck where the beard donor area is located I’m also experiencing an increase in acne and neck is completely itchy. Could you please advice me on what I should do? I followed the post-transplant procedure and simply trimmed the region on occasion. I am quite concerned about what may have been done to me and regret this procedure.

Imo Turkey is not the place where you wanna go for transplants. Web is filled with unsatisfied patients thanks to unqualified staff-subpar equipment-lack of ethics-etc and so on. Trust me to not to get serious with complications!!!! I didn’t come across single clinic in Turkey acknowledges afro-transplants? What to expect with this low costs to reflect on quality??
